
Julia Reda has focused her political work on copyright reform as a Member of the European Parliament 2014-2019. She now leads the strategic litigation project control ©, designed to strengthen communication freedoms in relation to copyright law, with German fundamental rights NGO Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte (GFF). Julia is an affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center and a fellow of the Shuttleworth Foundation.
She comments on European and international digital policy in her column “Edit Policy” at the leading German tech news portal heise online and as @Senficon on Twitter. Julia holds an M.A. in political science and communications science from Mainz University, Germany.
