Felix Reda

Felix Reda (he/they) has focused his political work on copyright reform as a Member of the European Parliament 2014-2019. He is a senior fellow of German fundamental rights NGO Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte (GFF), where he started the the strategic litigation project control ©, designed to strengthen communication freedoms in relation to copyright law. As a member of COMMUNIA Association for the Public Domain, Felix works towards international recognition and protection of the public domain in the law. Felix is an affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center, a board member of Open Knowledge Foundation Germany and a policy committee member of Knowledge Rights 21.

Felix holds an M.A. in political science and communications science from Mainz University, Germany.
