Harvard's Institutional Data Initiative (IDI) secured a collection of nearly 1,000,000 digitized public domain works to be used to train AI. In an interview with Harvard Law Today, Amanda Watson, Assistant Dean for Library and Information Sciences at HLS, credits early conversations with BKC's Jonathan Zittrain and Greg Leppert with helping her understand the complex relationship between librarianship and AI.
