Draft Policy Guidance on AI for Children

BKC community members inform UNICEF report

Youth and Media Director Sandra Cortesi, BKC Executive Director Urs Gasser, Assistant Research Director Ryan Budish, and Research Associate Alexa Hasse informed UNICEF’s Draft Policy Guidance on AI for Children, which “aims to promote children's rights in government and private sector AI policies and practices and raise awareness of how AI systems can uphold or undermine these rights.” The draft report was released at a UNICEF event on September 16 and is open for feedback and public consultation until October 16, 2020.

Cortesi and Gasser are members of UNICEF’s expert advisory group on “AI for children.”
