Apply now for the BKC Summer 2023 Internship Program

Applications due by Monday, March 27 at 5:00pm ET.

Details & Application

Berkman Klein Center summer interns are substantively involved in BKC's projects, programs, and other efforts. Intern roles and projects range widely, based on the Center’s needs and the intern's skills. Interns also participate in regular cohort-building activities.

For summer 2023, we welcome students to apply to any of these six research assistant opportunities:

  • Communications
  • Leadership Team
  • metaLAB
  • Privacy Tools
  • Professor Zittrain Projects
  • Rebooting Social Media

With the exception of an in-person orientation June 5-7, in-person presence is not required. Interns must, however, reside in one of the following US states for the duration of employment: Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington. Applicants must possess work authorization in the United States. Applicants who do not reside in one of these states may choose to relocate temporarily for the summer to meet this eligibility criterion.

Applications are due by Monday, March 27, 2023 at 5:00pm Eastern.
