Copyright for Librarians

Archived project description:

The Berkman Center is partnering with eIFL.net (Electronic Information for Libraries) to deliver a distance learning program on Copyright for Librarians.

Materials will consist of course modules and discussion facilities, and will be made available under a Creative Commons Attribution license.

An expert group will participate to the course development and advise on various aspects:
- copyright law with an international perspective,
- librarians missions and issues,
- distance learning and open education methodology and technologies,
- developing and transition countries situation.

This project is supported in part by Electronic Information for Libraries. 

On March 24, 2010, the Berkman Center and eIFL.net announced the availability of the finished "Copyright for Librarians" curriculum, which can be used for distance learning, self-directed learning, or in-classroom instruction.
