Jonathan Zittrain appointed to tenured faculty position

Jonathan Zittrain has accepted an offer to become a tenured Professor of Law at Harvard Law School! He will continue to serve as a Berkman faculty co-director.

Jonathan is one of the founders of the Berkman Center. Many of our most successful projects -- such as the OpenNet Initiative and StopBadware -- are direct products of his acute sense of where both the opportunities and the hazards of information technology lie. More than anyone else involved in the center -- indeed, probably more than anyone anywhere -- he has a comprehensive sense of the legal, economic, political, and social dimensions of the Internet. His return will strengthen us enormously for years to come.

Everyone at the center welcomes him home!
