Is AI "All Too Human"? BKC Launches 2026-27 Speaker Series

Is AI a new Copernican moment? Not because it moves us in the cosmos, but because it unsettles our sense of what makes us central, distinct, and human.

BKC is excited to partner with the Public Culture Project, based out of Harvard's Faculty of Arts and Sciences, for its 2026-2027 event series, All Too Human: How AI is Shifting the Ways We Make Meaning.

As we navigate AI’s role in our lives and society, how is it changing our sense and practice of our humanity? How can we shape its development and our use of it to strengthen human agency, dignity, and genuine connection?

Through a diverse and interdisciplinary array of speakers and complementary programs, the series will explore how AI is reshaping our human relationships, systems of belief, capacity for creativity, and most intimate emotional experiences. The series will also utilize Nextspace, to gather attendee input at each event, accumulating a digital artifact of the community's thinking at the end of the spring.
