Faculty Associate Petra Molnar details the latest developments in border technologies, including robo-dogs in the US and "Ghost Sharks" in Australia, and the rapid proliferation of such technologies since the beginning of the second Trump Administration.
Molnar warns: "Because of their visceral, sci-fi-like qualities and draconian interventions, robo-dogs and Ghost sharks can obscure the less visible but equally harmful projects, such as visa-triage algorithms and biometric registration systems." Read more in Tech Policy Press.
