"It’s surprising to me how ahistorical tech can be. The fact that we had so many of these stories and these narratives and these conversations years ago, and we’re acting like these are new conversations, that is actually surprising to me. It maybe shouldn’t be surprising to me. Very few of these problems are new problems. We have seen them in other forms, and we’re actually going through the same cycle. It’s surprising and frustrating. It’s many things."
