From patent law to the challenges facing the digital commons, leading academics and policymakers from around the world discussed intellectual property issues at Harvard Law School.

BKC faculty co-director Ruth Okediji hosted the “Innovation, Justice and Globalization” symposium on September 26-27, 2019. BKC co-directors Yochai Benkler, William “Terry” W. Fisher, and Rebecca Tushnet contributed to the event, as did BKC fellows Padmashree Gehl Sampath and Kat Geddes.  

Benkler gave a keynote talk, in which he argued that much of what we assume about the relation between productivity and power is wrong.
