Google and Facebook aren’t infringing on the right’s freedom of expression, but insisting otherwise is politically convenient, argues former BKC fellow Siva Vaidhyanathan in The Atlantic. Vaidhyanathan points to research from BKC’s Yochai Benkler, Robert Faris, and Hal Roberts, which shows that right-wing sources of news and propaganda spread much further and faster than liberal or neutral sources.
