Public Discourse in the U.S. 2020 Election
The Public Discourse in the U.S. 2020 Election project studies digital media ecosystems and political discourse related to the U.S. presidential election.
Through research reports enabled by Media Cloud, the project provides critical insight and perspective on media coverage and public discourse leading up to the 2020 presidential election. The project builds upon the approaches and methods developed in a study of the 2016 election and provides comparative analysis of partisan media coverage of election topics and trends.
The project was funded by grants from Craig Newmark Philanthropies, the Ford Foundation, and the Open Societies Foundations.
