Yannis is an Emerging Technologies Governance Expert, specializing in AI, Cybersecurity, and Web3, and serves as an Affiliated Researcher at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. Yannis has broad experience working across government, academia, and international policy, helping connect research with industry.
He has collaborated with France’s Supreme Audit Institution, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Bank of France, the OECD, and the United Nations, as well as contributing to G7 digital working groups. His international engagements also include work with institutions in Tunisia and Taiwan. He served on the OECD Blockchain Expert Policy Advisory Board and the OECD Committee on Financial Markets, where he contributed to developing regulatory approaches for tokenized assets and the use of AI in financial services.
He has taught at Harvard Law School, Université Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris 1, Université Paris-Descartes, and through the United Nations’ Unite Academy. Yannis has published research through the United Nations Office of Information and Communications Technology on Generative AI, Web3, and Quantum technologies, collaborating with academia and NGOs. Yannis’s research focuses on AI governance, including futures, cybersecurity, and international policy.
