Sunoo Park

Sunoo is a Ph.D. student in computer science (cryptography) at MIT. She is also affiliated with MIT’s Internet Policy Research Initiative and with the Digital Currency Initiative at the MIT Media Lab; and this summer she was an intern at The New York Times.

Sunoo is interested in privacy (in all its polysemous glory), and wants to better understand the ways that hiding or revealing information can influence the incentives and behavior of participants in systems. She is also interested in how US and international law treat privacy, data protection, and the use of cryptography.
