Samuel Brasil is a professor in the LL.M. program in Legal Theory at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, and a former Chief Justice of the Espirito Santo Court of Justice (State Supreme Court).
He is also a professor at the National Judicial School and the leader of a research group focused on behavioral science and digital justice. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of São Paulo and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Espirito Santo. He is the recipient of two awards for his projects on artificial intelligence and digital innovation. His current research interests center on the intersection of technology and law, with a particular focus on Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Systems, AI alignment, ethical AI, and algorithmic fairness.
