Harvard Law School Students: Clinical Enrollment Next Week! Meet the Cyberlaw Clinic This Week!
Attention Harvard Law School 1Ls and 2Ls: as you make your way back from spring break and head into the homestretch of the 2013-14 academic year, you should be aware that clinical enrollment for 2014-15 begins at 9:00 am on Wednesday, April 2nd and runs through 5:00 pm on Thursday, April 3rd. That’s next week! If you’re interested in working with the Cyberlaw Clinic during the fall or spring semester next year, please plan to register next Wednesday or Thursday. If you’re still on the fence and want some more information about the experience of working in the Cyberlaw Clinic, you have two opportunities this week to join Clinic staff at events on campus:
- First, on Wednesday, March 26th, HLS’s Office of Clinical and Pro Bono Programs holds its annual Clinical Fair. This event is a great opportunity for students to meet representatives from many of the more than two dozen Harvard Law School clinical programs and get a sense of the broad and diverse range of for-credit, real-world practice opportunities available to HLS students. The fair takes place from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm in Milstein East A, B, and C. The Cyberlaw Clinic’s supervising attorneys will be on hand along with some past and current Clinic students to answer your questions about the enrollment process and the day-to-day workings of the Clinic.
- Second, on Thursday, March 27th, the Cyberlaw Clinic will host a happy hour at the HLS Pub in WCC, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. This will be a fun and informal way to hear about the exciting work that the Clinic is doing, meet Clinic staff, and generally discuss interesting issues relating to law and technology.
These events will be of particular interest to HLS students seeking information about enrollment for 2014-15, but any student passionate (or even merely curious) about IP, privacy, digital civil liberties, and the like should feel free to come on either Wednesday or Thursday. And, of course, don’t hesitate to reach out to any of the clinicians or Clinic Project Coordinator Shannon Walker directly with questions about the Clinic and clinical registration.
