HLS Students: Winter and Spring 2009 Clinical Enrollment This Week!

Enrollment for Harvard Law Students in the Cyberlaw Clinic for the Winter and Spring 2009 terms begins today, Monday, October 27th, and runs through Thursday, October 30th, at 5:00 pm EST.  Results will be available through MyPlanon Monday, November 3rd.  Details about the Clinic enrollment process can be found at the main HLS Clinical webpage.  Students can enroll in the Cyberlaw Clinic through two HLS courses -- Intellectual Property Law:  Advanced (Fisher) and Child Exploitation, Pornography (Rosenfeld/Sacco) -- enrollment in which must also take place during this week's online process.

In addition, students also may enroll in the Cyberlaw Clinic through Professor Zittrain and Professor Sunstein's spring seminar, The Internet: Issues at the Frontiers.  However, because placement in that seminar is by permission of the instructors only, Clinic enrollment through it will not take place in this week's online registration.  Instead, you must send a statement of interest for the seminar and CV to Moira Harding at MHarding[AT]law.harvard.edu by October 28 and also indicate your interest in enrolling in a winter or spring Cyberlaw Clinic placement (please be specific, though you may indicate you would be willing to do either term).

Students interested in the Cyberlaw Clinic are encouraged to attend the Clinical Fair this evening, Monday, October 27, 2008, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Ropes Gray, Pound Hall.  This will be a great opportunity to learn about the Clinic and talk to Clinic staff members about our fascinating range of clients and projects.  Enrollment is open to HLS 2Ls and 3Ls, but 1Ls are welcome to attend tonight's Fair to begin planning for the 2009-2010 academic year.  Refreshments will be served! Interested students are also encouraged to contact the Cyberlaw Clinic staff with any questions:
