A Wikipedia Founder Is Barred From Editing Articles on the Site

Faculty Associate Dariusz Jemielniak weighs in on Wikipedia's restricting founder Larry Sanger's access to the site's editing platform. Jemielniak notes that Sanger "has been very against anonymity," and that Sanger has voiced his belief that those in power - the site's volunteer administrators - should have to identify themselves. Sanger was barred from editing after canvassing an online audience (his X following) to sway an internal policy to allow for "greater viewpoint diversity." Read more from The New York Times.
