Removal request data from Google uncovers false takedown claims

The Lumen database, a unique public resource collecting and studying millions of removal requests for online content, enabled a Wall Street Journal investigation into fake removal requests sent to Google. The WSJ collaborated with Lumen, exploring its database of copyright removal notices and uncovering false takedown claims to Google.
