The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence

Experts, including BKC’s Ryan Budish, weigh in on the ethics of AI: its costs and benefits, current governance mechanisms, and more, in an article from Diversity in Action.

“There’s a real need to have people involved in the entire life cycle of AI, from the data collection to developing AI technologies to deploying AI technology to using AI technologies who come from a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives and geographies and disciplines,” Budish said. “We need people from different disciplines in STEM more broadly, but we also need people from disciplines beyond STEM being part of the conversation.”
