Tech Giants, Profs Push Justices To Take Google-Oracle Case

BKC Faculty Director Chris Bavitz represents eight law professors from Harvard University, New York University, and other schools who are officially commenting on a major copyright lawsuit between Oracle and Google on the software used in Android smartphones. In the comment, professors tell justices the case provides an “ideal vehicle” for the court’s first ruling in more than 25 years on copyright’s fair use doctrine.
