Qunfang Wu is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information at Florida State University and a former Berkman Klein Center fellow. 

She is a technological activist researcher committed to empowering marginalized communities by integrating their voices into the understanding, design, and critique of technology. Her current work examines how people navigate AI systems—such as personalized recommendations and chatbots—in their everyday lives. She also designs interventions that promote AI transparency and support user agency, aiming to advance user-centered and socially responsible AI technologies.
