I am a health journalist from India with six years experience with a national daily covering the intersections of gender, sectarian violence, social norms, sanitation and environment with population health outcomes. I recently graduated with a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University, focussing on social and behavioral sciences. Now I work in research on behavioral change communication around open defecation, family planning and gender violence in India and South Asia, both on a fellowship at the Harvard School of Public Health, and in my work at the Berkman Klein Center.
