Gretchen is a volunteer at Evitable and an independent researcher affiliated with the Berkman Klein Center.
She has long challenged the assumption that A(G)I is inevitable and currently focuses on supporting those resisting the race to develop and drive adoption of more and more powerful AI in all aspects of society. Previously, she worked on the Policy Research team at OpenAI, the AI Now Institute, and the City of New York's Economic Development Corporation.
