Dorothy Zinberg

Dorothy Shore Zinberg is Lecturer in Public Policy, Faculty Associate at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and a faculty member with the Program for Science, Technology, and Public Policy. She is author and editor of numerous books and articles, including Uncertain Power: The Struggle for a National Energy Policy and The Changing University: How the Need for Scientists and Technology Is Transforming Universities Internationally. Over the past decade, she wrote a monthly column on science and technology issues for the (London) Times Higher Education supplement. Her current research includes an examination of the social-political aspects of educating foreign scientists and the impact of information technology on higher education.

Zinberg has been a visiting scholar at the Institute of Policy at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing and at the National Institute for Science and Technology Policy in Tokyo. She is currently a Research Fellow at University College London and serves on the board of directors of Talking Science Internet Radio. She recently served on NATOs Science and Technology Policy Committee and was also a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London.
