David is Director of the Harvard Business School Digital Initiative where he sustains the community of scholars, students, and practitioners exploring and defining digital transformation.

He has spent over 25 years integrating business, technology, and people in enterprise software, ecommerce, internet media, and academia. Additionally, he spent several years designing sound systems for pro sports stadiums including work on Coors Field, Fenway Park, and Camp Nou. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from Tufts University, an MBA in technology and innovation from Northeastern University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education at Northeastern where his research focuses on digital technology literacy. He is specifically exploring fundamental skills to enable all students to leverage technology for themselves and their work, and effectively contribute to public discourse regarding technology and society. He lives with his wife and two children outside Boston
