The Berkman@10 Conference, "The Future of the Internet," is one week away, and we are thrilled to have those registered join us for our anniversary and this special celebration and gathering. In preparation for next week's events, please note the details listed below.

FINAL LEADUP EVENT INFO

Berkman will co-host a final leadup event to the conference on the evening of May 14, at the Harvard Institute of Politics, on Civic Engagement and the Youth Vote in the 2008 Elections, which will include Jesse Dylan, HopeActChange.org and Director/Producer of the will.i.am "Yes We Can" video, Wes Hill, co-Founder of HopeActChange.org, Ari Melber, The Nation Magazine and Jeff Frazee, National Youth Coordinator, Ron Paul 2008. Moderated by Berkman's Executive Director, John Palfrey. A reception will follow at the Malkin Penthouse, 5th floor of Littauer, 79 JFK Street, and all B@10 conference attendees are encouraged to join.

CONFERENCE LOCATION

[THURSDAY & FRIDAY 5/15-5/16] Registration and conference activities will commence in Austin Hall on the campus of Harvard Law School (link to a map is below). Check in and a continental breakfast begin Thursday morning at 8:30 AM with sessions starting promptly at 9:00 AM.

DIRECTIONS

The law school is easily accessible by public transportation and is located at the Harvard Square T stop on the Red Line. For more information on directions, please visit this web page. We encourage you to take public transportation to the conference, as we are unable to provide parking accommodations, and public parking in the area is very limited.

THURSDAY EVENING FOOD FOR THOUGHT DINNERS

On the evening of May 15th, informal groups will assemble for dinner and conversation at various restaurants in Harvard Square following conference activities. To see the topics of conversation, and to register to participate in one of the dinner groups, please refer to this page on our wiki.

GALA AND AWARD CEREMONY REMINDER (register by this Friday!)

*Please note that B@10 conference registration DOES NOT include admittance to the Gala. Registration through the Gala page is required.*

Celebrate with us as we present the first-ever Berkman Awards and recognize Internet innovators at the Berkman@10 Gala, taking place on the evening of May 16 at the Charles Hotel. Registration for our Gala and Award Ceremony closes Friday (5/9) at noon, so reserve you're spot now, if you haven't already!
