Student Salon Series: Balancing AI Innovation and Regulation - what is the role of AI auditing at the time of ChatGPTs arms race?
The Student Salon Series is a student-led event series bringing Harvard students into dialogue about tech topics, hosted by the Berkman Klein Center.
Join us on April 13, for the Berkman Klein Center’s second Student Salon Series event, Balancing AI Innovation and Regulation -- what is the role of AI auditing at the time of ChatGPTs arms race? OpenAI’s Chat-GPT has recently revealed and reminded the world of the immense potential and risks associated with Generative AI systems. While some experts are calling for a break on advanced AI research, others consider the alert as a distraction from the real and present AI threats that reproduce and amplify biases and inequities.
The AI & Emerging Tech Caucus at HKS and the Harvard Berkman Klein Center invite you to a discussion with Cathy O’Neil and Mason Kortz that will help us assess the opportunities and risks at stake as we make sense of the current moment in AI development.
This is an in-person only event limited to Harvard ID card holders. Snacks will be provided.
