Within that frame, we explore the nature of truth, perception, memory, credibility, clarity, relevance, prejudice, hearsay, confrontation and privilege. Our approach is conceptual and rhetorical, with focus on the principles from which the rules of evidence arise rather than upon the rules themselves.
