Introduction to Intellectual Property Law - Fall 2018
This is an introductory course on intellectual property (IP). It will cover the basic rules of the principal forms of IP (patents, copyrights, and trademarks). For each subject, students will learn eligibility, scope of protection, exceptions, infringement, and enforcement. The course will also provide an overview of related state regimes, namely, tradesecrets and unfair competition law.
