Establishing a Commission in MA re: Use of AI in State Government

Christopher Bavitz published testimony he shared with the Joint Committee on State Administration and Regulatory Oversight of the Massachusetts Legislature on October 1, 2019 in support of proposed state House and state Senate bills that would establish a commission to consider use of technical tools that incorporate AI, algorithms, and machine learning throughout state government in the Commonwealth.

Bavitz's testimony is co-signed by a number of researchers and scholars; those joining the written testimony do so as individuals, titles and affiliations are for identification purposes only.
