Xia Rondeau is a trans non-binary adoptee who is now the Events Manager for the BKC. Before joining the team, Xia served as the Youth Program, Immersive, and Community Media Manager and finally, Project Manager for Digital Diversity & Inclusion at Cambridge Community Television, which was a second home to them since high school. There, they developed a deep passion for community-based media and a representative media landscape that was made by and for the people.
As someone who grew up with rich cultural experiences and perspectives, they come to the BKC with a keen eye for engaging with spectrums of individual identity in community work. They are excited to spearhead creative ways of convening, conversing, and collaborating through thoughtful events, also made by and for the people.
Xia now has far more tattoos and hair than is pictured in their photo but is the same artsy individual passionate about social justice and inclusion for all.
