Tyler Cabot is the creator of The Encyclopedia of Now. He has spent the past fifteen years creating narrative journalism and fiction, and devising new ways to experience, distribute, and pay for them.
He worked for over a decade as a features and fiction editor at Esquire before starting Esquire Labs, where he built the magazine’s digital archive, paywall, and podcast. Most recently at Audible, Amazon’s audiobook company, he co-launched the Originals division.
A 2014 Nieman Journalism fellow, Cabot is the founder of the content monetization lab Now/Here, and is an affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. His current work focuses on creating new ways to offer depth and perspective to the news cycle at a time when no stories—no matter how traumatic or significant—seem to leave a mark.
