Tracy Chou is a member of technical staff at Anthropic.
She previously founded and led Block Party, a consumer online safety and privacy startup acquired by DeleteMe in 2026. Block Party built tools to keep people's online presence from being weaponized against them — deep-cleaning social media and privacy settings across platforms to reduce exposure to harassment campaigns, social engineering, and fraud. Before that, Tracy was a software engineer at Pinterest, Quora, and the U.S. Digital Service. Her 2013 essay "Where Are the Numbers?" helped push tech companies to start disclosing workforce diversity data, and she went on to co-found Project Include, a nonprofit working to make the tech industry a place where everyone has a fair chance to succeed.
