Samuel Brasil is an Associate Professor at the National Judicial School and currently serves as Chief Justice of the Espirito Santo Court of Justice (State Supreme Court).
He is also a Professor in the LL.M. program in Legal Theory at Goethe University Frankfurt. He is the leader of a research group focused on behavioral science and digital justice. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of São Paulo and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Espirito Santo. He is the recipient of two awards for his projects on artificial intelligence and digital innovation. His current research interests center on the intersection of technology and law, with a particular focus on AI alignment, ethical AI, Agentic AI, AGI and ASI, and algorithmic fairness.
