Nick Seaver is an associate professor of anthropology and director of the program in Science, Technology, and Society at Tufts University.
His first book, _Computing Taste: Algorithms and the Makers of Music Recommendation_, is an ethnographic study of recommender system developers. At the Berkman Klein Center, he will be working on a new book project about the many meanings of attention in contemporary technical cultures.
