Katy Doyle

Katy Doyle is the Managing Director of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society, serving as chief operating and administrative officer for the Center’s daily operations and programs. 

She oversees core administrative, IT, and program staff; leads organizational planning and process improvement; and provides strategic oversight of budget and resource management. She also serves as a primary contact and resource for key stakeholders across Harvard and the broader BKC community, including faculty, fellows, staff, students, and affiliates.

Before joining BKC, Katy spent twelve years at the Harvard Center for International Development (CID), most recently as Senior Director. During her tenure, she helped guide the Center through a period of significant expansion. Her work spanned organizational strategy, communications, global partnerships, student and faculty engagement, and major convenings.

Throughout her career, Katy has focused on building institutions that connect research, practice, and public engagement. She has worked closely with faculty, students, practitioners, philanthropists, and organizational leaders to develop programs, partnerships, and communities that translate ideas into action.

Katy holds an MBA from IE Business School. She lives in Cambridge with her family and enjoys local bike rides, gardening, and searching for birds along the Charles River and New England coastline.
