Brendan Greeley has been a staff writer for Bloomberg Businessweek since 2011. He writes about economics, politics. and, when he is allowed, soccer and whiskey. Before that, he was technology and policy correspondent for The Economist, where he also launched and edited the Babbage blog about technology and served as the magazine's multimedia editor. And back when blogging was a thing, he held the title of Blogger in Chief for the public radio show Radio Open Source.
