Beau Sievers is a postdoctoral researcher in the Harvard Department of Psychology.

He wants to understand how people model the world, and how world models are shared within communities. While at the Berkman Center he will be developing a graph-theoretic model of semantic memory, and applying it to understand how groups of people on the internet come to see and speak about the world in incommensurably different ways.

He is also a composer, and a co-founder of Indexical—an organization dedicated to facilitating experimental music projects in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
