Ashley Stelfox is an attorney and public policy professional focused primarily on domestic connectivity issues.
Ashley is an attorney at Baller Stokes & Lide where she provides legal and strategic advice to clients that are planning, deploying, or operating broadband networks. She is also the General Counsel of the Coalition for Local Internet Choice, a non-profit advocacy organization that seeks to empower communities to participate in broadband decisionmaking. Ashley is a frequent speaker and writer on topics pertaining to community-led broadband initiatives, specifically broadband public-private partnerships.
Through her work, Ashley collaborates with communities across the country—from rural towns to major cities—that are seeking to improve their Internet infrastructure through innovative arrangements and models. She is deeply interested in the relationship between high-capacity Internet connectivity and the future of work with an emphasis on how communities can leverage their broadband networks to create new work.
While an affiliate with the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, Ashley will be splitting time between Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Cambridge.
