Sharing, Privacy and Trust in Our Networked World

Cathy De Rosa, OCLC Vice President for the Americas and Global Vice President of Marketing

This event took place at Harvard Business School, and was held in conjunction with Knowledge and Library Services of HBS.

Cathy De Rosa, OCLC's Vice President for the Americas and Global Vice President of Marketing, will speak about OCLC's most recent membership report, "Sharing, Privacy and Trust in Our Networked World."

This OCLC membership report explores the web of social participation and cooperation on the Internet and how it may impact the library's role, including the use of social networking, and social media. The report is based on a survey of the general public from six countries and provides insights into the values and social-networking habits of library users.
