Watch the recordings of six special events for Terry Fisher's HLS and EdX copyright courses
Over the course of the Spring 2013 semester, Professor Terry Fisher held six special events for his two copyright courses: one was offered at Harvard Law School, and the other, CopyrightX, was an experimental course offered under the auspices of the online learning initiative EdX. Both courses explore in depth the law, theory, and practice of copyright. The events brought together the Harvard Law School students, EdX students, and guest experts for real-time conversations.
You can read more about CopyrightX and access the course materials here.
Each of the events features a guest expert and examines a difficult issue growing out of, or adjacent to, copyright law. In the courses overall, and in the special events in particular, considerable attention is devoted to the relationship between copyright law and creative expression in a variety of fields: literature; music; film; photography; graphic art; software; comedy; fashion; and architecture.??
