Spring '08 at Berkman

The Spring semester is primed to begin this week, and with it comes a new round of Berkman courses, work opportunities, book releases, and events.

At Harvard Law School courses include: Patent Law with Terry Fisher; Motivation with Terry Fisher and Yochai Benkler; Antitrust, Technology, and Innovation with Phil Malone; Freedom with Charlie Nesson; and The Web Difference? Digital Media, Entertainment and the Law with John Palfrey and David Weinberger.

Harvard Extension School is offering: Politics and Technology of Control: The Evolving Role of the Internet in Society with Rob Faris, Colin Maclay, and Sam Bayard.

Beyond these courses, opportunities to work with us include research assistantships and internships.  Our projects and fellows are looking for sharp people to join them!  Check out the positions on the internship page, and join us for our Spring 2008 Open House on Tuesday, February 12th, to learn more!

Finally, as Berkman continues our year-long celebration in honor of our 10th anniversary, we have a great speaker series and gala on the horizon.  Check out our events and Berkman at 10 pages to learn more about these special happenings, on top of our ongoing Tueday luncheon series, workshops, and talks.

Formally or otherwise, we hope to see you around the Berkman Center this spring!  If you have questions on any of the above, please feel free to contact Becca Tabasky.
