Summer Doctoral Programme Accepting Applications

The Oxford Internet Institute is now accepting applications for the 2008 Summer Doctoral Programme, to be held in Oxford University this year.  All applications must be received by 5pm GMT on Wednesday, 20 February 2008, and successful applicants will be notified by April 4th, 2008.  

The SDP was hosted by the Berkman Center for Internet & Society in Cambridge, MA last year, and featured a program of lectures by the foremost internet researchers and lecturers in the field. This year, the program will take place from July 13-26th, and will focus on the overarching academic theme of "Web Science". Sir Tim Berners-Lee will be among the guest lecturers this year.
