Berkman Faculty Fellow Urs Gasser Releases Papers on Human Rights and Technological Innovation

Dr. Urs Gasser, Berkman Faculty Fellow and Associate Professor of Law at the University of St. Gallen, has just released two papers as part of the Berkman Center's Research Publication Series.

Responsibility for Human Rights Violations, Acts or Omissions, within the 'Sphere of Influence' of Companies "approaches the question of corporate social responsibility for acts and omissions of business entities outside the ownership sphere but possibly within the sphere of influence from a legal perspective."

Regulating Technological Innovation: An Information and a Business Law Perspective poses the question:  "What should be expected from an activity like information law - as the key interest of the authors' Research Center for Information Law - for a better understanding of the interrelation between law and technological innovation - here against the background of Swiss law?"
