Luncheon Series with Nieman Fellow Michael Anti

Today's Berkman Luncheon Series featured Michael Anti (Zhao Jing), a Nieman Fellow at Harvard and a journalism researcher with the Beijing Bureau of New York Times. Michael runs several political columns on Chinese top newspapers and magazines and served as a war reporter for a Chinese newspaper in Baghdad in March 2003.

Michael addressed the question: what is the result when decentralized and democratized Internet meets the central and undemocratic government with almost free and huge market?

Berkman Fellows Doc Searls, David Weinberger, and Ethan Zuckerman all live-blogged the lunch, so check out their blogs for summaries, comments, and more. Ethan says: "We hear a lot of good talks at Berkman. This was one of the very best I’ve heard in the past year."
