Trial of "Burning Man" in Second Life Tonight!
Join Professor Charles Nesson on Berkman Island for the latest in the series of Trials in Second Life - part of his HLS seminar by the same name. Professor Nesson, through his avatar Eon Berkman, will preside over the Trial of Burning Man at 7:00 p.m. (EDT) tonight!
Last month at the 21st annual Burning Man festival in Nevada's Black Rock Desert, the wooden structure - and namesake of the gathering - was set ablaze on the first day of the celebration. Paul David Addis was charged with felony arson and has pleaded not guilty, although he readily admits involvement with the group that planned and executed the act.
