Three Great Events Today

There are three great events happening today that you should definitely check out, or tune into, if you have a chance.

* OECD-Canada Forum on the Participative Web starts today in Ottawa and features Berkman fellows Urs Gasser and Shenja van der Graaf, who will be presenting their research on the Digital Natives project.  There are a number of ways to participate virtually, so be sure visit their site to send your questions or comments straight to the discussion as they take place throughout the day.

* The Connecticut Forum is hosting their latest panel discussion on "The Tech Revolution" tonight.  Their guests include Craig Newmark, Bekman fellows danah boyd and Jimmy Wales, as well as Berkman co-founder Jonathan Zittrain as moderator.  Resources are available online, but if you are in the Hartford, CT area and want to catch the live conversation, it starts at 8 p.m. (EDT).

* Just down I-91 in New Haven, the Harvard-MIT-Yale Cyberscholars will be holding their first meeting of the year.  This monthly gathering - hosted this time by Yale - features presentations and discussions on work from each of the participating institutions.  This month Berkman fellow Corinna di Gennaro will supply the fodder with her work on "Reconfiguring Friendships: Social Relationships and the Internet."  For more information on the program you can visit its website and see all of the past works that have been part of this great forum.
