Second Life Survey

Incoming Berkman fellow Shenja van der Graaf, who currently conducts her research on the social and economic aspects of virtual worlds at the London School of Economics, would like all Second Lifers to help in her latest survey.

Through this work, Shenja is looking into the composition and structure of the Second Life community and asks those interested in the virtual space to take the time to help in its development.  Participants also have the opportunity to win up to L$10,000 Linden bucks.

The results of the survey and corresponding study will be posted on Sheja's website when they are completed.

Second Life has proved to be a useful tool for the Berkman Center over the years, which, under the leadership of Berkman Center's founder Charlie Nesson, has used the medium for course instruction, mock trials, trial reenactment, and of course, Berkman Island where we stream video of our events as often as possible.
